Denia (in Valencian and officially Dénia) is a city in the Valencian Community, Spain, located on the north coast of the province of Alicante. It is the capital of the region of Marina Alta. It had 41,672 inhabitants registered on January 1, 2014 (INE), but in summer its population can reach 200,000 inhabitants.
